Happy New Year!

I’m a little behind but only by a day.  I hope this second day of 2013 has been such a blessing to you!  This year, what can I say?  I cannot describe the excitement I have for what God is going to do.  He makes all things new and that is word I feel He has given me for this year.

Looking back over 2012 is such a blessing.  The word God gave me back last January was “Change”.  I’m not a fan of change but God really carried me through this year.  There was some kind of change each month this year.
He carried me through an ending of dreams and a renewal of new/old ones.  Three people close to me moved two away and one closer.  Those two were hard, and the third was a happy/sad deal.  I went on my first mission trip in about five years and then again on my third one.  I quit the job I loved because it’s what God asked of me.  My dad got married and I gained some new family (including two step-brothers)!   I went to middle school camp and then a high school lock-in!  He taught me a lot, and He was and is so faithful!

God did all of that and so much more this past year; I know He has immeasurably more this year.  Maybe more change, yes.  Maybe, more hard stuff, yes.  Maybe more blessings, YES!  All will be new!

2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

Revelation 21:5
Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”
