This Man

Jesus_cross_crucifixionHe was beaten until almost dead, forced to walk uphill to the place he would die and nailed to a rough, wooden cross.

He died a hideous death- each breath brought more pain than life.

He was rejected by the One He had never been without because He was cover with my sin and yours.

For two long days it seemed evil had won.

But as that third day dawned something happened.

sunbeams1Death and hell were defeated! satan was crushed and Jesus Christ- the Son of God- was raised up, alive and still living and seated at God's right hand!

Today we celebrate the victory Jesus won!  Today we remember what it cost God that we might be seated with Him.  Today we reflect on what being a Christ follow truly means.

Praise God, Praise God, PRAISE GOD!

Through Christ
